How do you test for STIs/STDs?
We test for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia in the urine. STI testing and treatment is important for pregnant women, especially those who are considering abortion. Our nursing staff can educate you about the risks involved in having active STI’s.
How do I qualify for an ultrasound?
You must have a positive pregnancy test at Choices Clinic of Laurel or proof of a positive test, have not yet seen a physician to confirm pregnancy, and be at least 6 weeks pregnant to qualify for a limited ultrasound. If you are considering an abortion, an ultrasound to verify an intrauterine pregnancy is very important.
